ORGANIC MULTIPLES

REPURPOSE

I took some worn used ZARA denim jeans and I decided to see how far these could be repurposed. And instead of un picking and re sewing the jeans in a new way I decided to use some sections with new pattern peices.

i started making pattern pieces to place onto the body. I used an old towel to line the inside of the garment and create padding. I made the wings from wire and I made each flower by hand. I made a range of sizes to fit each individual spine of the wing.

When going into the photo studio I knew exactly how I wanted the photos to be taken and finished. The photos came out exactly as planed. I wanted deep shadows to reflect shape and silhouette.
